REMONDIS SAVA is a highly sought-after partner wherever there is a need for the safe and compliant recovery of hazardous waste – and not only in Germany but right across the world: from Moldova, to Lithuania and Romania, to Belarus. Moreover, we played an important role in recovering and treating pesticides in Nepal. We transport treatment facilities to the various locations so that some of the hazardous substances can be processed in situ; the remaining waste is packed in accordance with international standards and transported to REMONDIS SAVA's plant in Germany by road, rail and/or sea.
Safely removing risks: By professionally incinerating hazardous waste, we eliminate potential sources of danger that might otherwise harm people and the environment
Being a subsidiary of REMONDIS Industrie Service, REMONDIS SAVA takes part in global tenders and is regularly awarded contracts to carry out major projects.
Belarus
The Ministry of Nature and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus commissioned us with the task of recovering 2,000 tonnes of pesticides in Slonim. The work, which began in September 2011, is being carried out as part of a World Bank project to recover and process bioactive substances.

Since May 2011, we have been working on a project to recover around 107 tonnes of laboratory chemicals from more than 1,000 schools located close to Moldova's capital, Chisinau. This poisonous material is being transported to Germany and neutralised at the hazardous waste incineration plant in Brunsbüttel.
